In 2008, my friend Pamela had broken her ribs from falling. What she noticed and was told, is that spirit had taken pieces of her rib bones to make an egg around her tummy, she kept telling me that she was pregnant in her tummy, I thought she was crazy! Well! what a story after that one...

We have many ways of telling stories: Fairytales, Mythological tales, Song lyrics, Dreams, movies... Stories will nudge us when we least expect through a narrative that touches the heart or a song strain that will not leave the mind or a movie that you see and know that somewhere, sometime, you have been there before. Mary Magdalene has encouraged us to look to stories that jump out at us and search for the parallels, teaching and learning moments contained in them. To sit with these stories, commune with them and come to a personal understanding is not for the faint hearted; for really, it is simply another way to truly look at, understand and come to know our selves.
